Job Announcement: African Consultant Evaluator (IFAD and AfDB) - 14 March 2007
The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD) will shortly undertake a continent wide evaluation of their agriculture and rural work over the past ten years. The evaluation will span the entire continent of Africa with detailed fieldwork likely to be undertaken in 10-15 countries. Both institutions are keen to hear from African consultant evaluators interested in this study.
Interested persons should have from 3-10 years evaluation experience gained in Africa or elsewhere coupled with knowledge of agriculture and rural investment projects and rural development more generally. They should be good thinkers, energetic, able to travel and effective writers in English or French and hold at least a Masters degree. Only persons currently working as freelance consultants should reply.
